ต้นลำพู บางลำพูเป็นย่านที่เคยมีต้นลำพูจำนวนมาก ต้นสุดท้ายอายุกว่า
๑๐๐ ปี ตั้งตระหง่านอยู่ริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา แต่ต้องยืนต้นตายจากเหตุการณ์มหาอุทกภัย
เมื่อ พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๔ ชาวชุมชนบางลำพูได้ตัดกิ่งจากต้นลำพูมาเก็บไว้เพื่อเป็นอนุสรณ์
ปัจจุบันจัดแสดงอยู่ภายในพิพิธบางลำพู
The Centennial Lamphu tree, Banglamphu used
to be an area filled with many Lamphu trees. The last Lamphu tree of Banglamphu
community stood by the bank of the Chao Phraya River, but it died during the
deluge of Bangkok in 2011. Its branch is preserved at the Banglamphu Museum in
remembrance of the last Lamphu tree.
