พิพิธบางลำพู The Banglamphu Museum

พิพิธบางลำพู พิพิธภัณฑ์ในสังกัดสำนักทรัพย์สินมีค่าของแผ่นดิน กรมธนารักษ์ เป็นศูนย์การเรียนรู้เชิงวัฒนธรรมและห้องสมุดของชุมชนบางลำพู จัดตั้งขึ้นโดยความร่วมมือระหว่างกรมธนารักษ์กับชุมชนบางลำพู ตั้งอยู่ใกล้กับป้อม

The Banglamphu Museum, a cultural learning center and public library, is established by
a collaboration between the Treasury Department and Banglamphu community. It is situated near Phra Sumen Fort, Phra Nakhon district, Bangkok. 

วัดสังเวชวิศยารามวรวิหาร Wat Sungwej Wisayaram Worawiham

วัดสังเวชวิศยารามวรวิหาร เดิมชื่อ “วัดสามจีน” หรือ “วัดบางลำพู” ตั้งอยู่ริมคลองบางลำพู เขตพระนครสันนิษฐานว่าสร้างขึ้นก่อนการตั้งกรุงรัตนโกสินทร์ ต่อมารัชกาลที่ ๔ ได้พระราชทานนามใหม่ว่า “วัดสังเวช

วิศยาราม” ปัจจุบันมีฐานะเป็นพระอารามหลวงชั้นตรี ชนิดวรวิหาร

Wat Sungwej Wisayaram Worawiharn was originally named “Wat Sam Cheen” or 

“Wat Banglamphu”. It is situated off the bank of Banglamphu canal in Phra Nakhon district. 

It was presumably established before the Rattanakosin period. Later, King Rama IV bestowed the new name “Wat Sungwej Wisayaram”.  Currently, it is a third-rank Worawiharn royal temple.

เดิมเรียก “สุเหร่าวัดตองปุ” มีอายุมากกว่า ๑๐๐ ปี เป็นศาสนสถานและศูนย์รวมกิจกรรมทางสังคมของชุมชน

ชาวมุสลิมสถาปัตยกรรมอาคารมีการผสมผสานแบบกึ่งอาหรับกึ่งโรมันผสมเปอร์เซีย

Chakkrapong Mosque, the center of the Muslims in Banglamphu community, was originally named “Wat Thong Pu Mosque”. This over 100 year-old mosque has a mixture influence of Arabian and Roman-Persian architectural styles.

วัดสามพระยาวรวิหาร Wat Sam Phraya Wara Vihara

วัดสามพระยาวรวิหาร เดิมเป็นวัดราษฎร์ซึ่งชาวบ้านในบริเวณนั้นเรียกว่า “วัดบางขุนพรหม” สันนิษฐานว่า 

สร้างมาตั้งแต่สมัยกรุงศรีอยุธยาเป็นราชธานี ต่อมาพระยาราชสุภาวดี พระยาราชนิกุล และพระยาเทพวรชุน 

ได้น้อมเกล้าฯ ถวายวัดนี้แด่รัชกาลที่ ๓ พระองค์จึงโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้ขึ้นบัญชีเป็นพระอารามหลวง และพระราชทานนามใหม่ว่า “วัดสามพระยาวรวิหาร” เมื่อ พ.ศ. ๒๓๖๖

Wat Sam Phraya Wara Vihara was originally named “Wat Bangkhunprom”. Phraya Ratcha Supawadee, Phraya Ratchanikul and Phraya Thepwarachun ordered a full restoration of the temple and presented to King Rama III. The King graciously bestowed the temple as a royal monastery and renamed “Wat Sam Phraya Wara Vihara” to commemorate these three benefactors in 1823.

is cooked with authentic recipe like no others by “Auntie Boon Ruen”.

“Crispy egg – crepe by Mae Prapha”, one of the most popular dessert of Banglamphu. 

Have been serving the delicacy for more than 50 years, this dessert is famous for both sweet and salty overflowed scrumptious crispness stuffing.

ข้าวต้มน้ำวุ้น Steamed Sticky Rice in Banana Leaves

“ข้าวต้มน้ำวุ้น” ขนมหวานโบราณขึ้นชื่อชองชุมชนวัดสามพระยา มีที่มาจากขนมบ๊ะจ่างของชาวจีน ดัดแปลงโดยคุณปู่สมิง เวิ่นทอง ลักษณะเป็นข้าวต้มทรงสามเหลี่ยม รับประทานกับน้ำเชื่อม ทับทิมกรอบ และขนุน 

เพิ่มความเย็นสดชื่นด้วยน้ำแข็งบด

 “Steamed Sticky Rice in Banana Leaves” are well-known authentic dessert of Wat Sam Phraya community into Thai dessert. A triangle shape steamed sticky rice originating from Zongzi, a traditional Chinese rice dish, was improvised by Grandpa Sming Wernthong. It is served with syrup, coated water chestnut pieces and jackfruit. To add a refreshing flavor, it is usually served with crushed ice.

“ร้านอาอีซะห์รสดี” ร้านอาหารอิสลามเก่าแก่ย่านบางลำพู เปิดกิจการมายาวนานกว่า ๕๐ ปี อาหารรสดีขึ้นชื่อ มีทั้งสลัดแขกสูตรพิเศษ เนื้อสเต๊ะ และข้าวหมกไก่แสนอร่อย

“Aheesah Roddee”, a famous Muslim restaurant in Banglamphu. Having been founding for more than 50 years, various famous Muslim dishes are Thai curry peanut salad dressing, beef satay, Muslim yellow rice with chicken and other many dishes

ต้นลำพู The Centennial Lamphu tree

ต้นลำพู บางลำพูเป็นย่านที่เคยมีต้นลำพูจำนวนมาก ต้นสุดท้ายอายุกว่า ๑๐๐ ปี ตั้งตระหง่านอยู่ริมแม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา แต่ต้องยืนต้นตายจากเหตุการณ์มหาอุทกภัย เมื่อ พ.ศ. ๒๕๕๔ ชาวชุมชนบางลำพูได้ตัดกิ่งจากต้นลำพูมาเก็บไว้เพื่อเป็นอนุสรณ์ ปัจจุบันจัดแสดงอยู่ภายในพิพิธบางลำพู

The Centennial Lamphu tree, Banglamphu used to be an area filled with many Lamphu trees. The last Lamphu tree of Banglamphu community stood by the bank of the Chao Phraya River, but it died during the deluge of Bangkok in 2011. Its branch is preserved at the Banglamphu Museum in remembrance of the last Lamphu tree.

Many kinds of flags were made in Bowon Rungsi. Nowadays this community does not make flags anymore, but there are flag shops opening on Bowon Niwet Road.

ช่างเงินเเห่งตรอกบ้านพานถม Sliversmiths of Ban Phan Thom Community

“ช่างเงินแห่งตรอกบ้านพานถม” ชุมชนบ้านพานถมแห่งย่านบางลำพูทำกิจการเครื่องเงินมาตั้งแต่สมัยรัชกาลที่ ๕ และสืบทอดรุ่นต่อรุ่นเรื่อยมา ปัจจุบันเหลือเพียงร้านเครื่องถมไทยนครที่ยังคงสืบสานและสร้างสรรค์เครื่องถมไทยให้เป็นที่รู้จักในฐานะประณีตศิลป์ชั้นสูงของไทย

“Silversmiths of Ban Phan Thom Community”, Ban Phan Thom Community has been making the silverware and nielloware since the reign of King Rama V. Succeeding generation of 

the silversmiths continues crafting this legacy until the present. Nowadays leaving just the 

“Ran Kleang Tom Thai Nakorn” a shop that is still continuing the legacy of neilloware as exquisite arts for the upper social class.

เดิมมีชื่อว่า “ตงก๊ก” ตั้งอยู่บริเวณสะพานนรรัตน์สถานฝั่งเหนือ ภาพยนตร์ที่ฉายส่วนใหญ่มาจากต่างประเทศ มีนักพากย์ชื่อดัง คือ ทิดเขียว หรือ นายสิน สีบุญเรือง

The Budsayaphan Cinema

Previously named “Tong Gok”, located on the north side of the Norrarat Sathan Bridge, the cinema usually showed action movies from abroad. Tid Kiew or Sin Sribunruang was a famous voice-over artist of these action movies.
